How to encourage Rupp to sell the Club

You are joking? Yes? How can you actually want him to stay, I would want to see all kinds of things happen at City before I would actively want him to stay but even then it would be tongue in cheek. We would have to be where we were when he found us. However, it would be fair to say he has done nothing to initiate such an event.

How do you know? He said he'd sell to whoever will do better then him.

Loads of people would do better than him, but they aren’t paying the money he supposedly wants. That what I suspect matters the most. Who is paying £10m for a mid table L2 club in a moribund city?

As for selling to whoever would do better than him is this serious
He has taken us on a downward spiral since day one and who's to say it's finished
Surely even you with your rose tinted spectacles and red raw hands from clapping can see he will only sell to someone who meets his allegedly over inflated valuation whether they can do better (low bar there) or not
Wake up man this club is going nowhere under the present leadership yes we will hit a purple patch or two on the pitch but you really do need to see the bigger picture

Glad you are "reasonably satisfied" and in the minority who are pleased with us going from the brink of the Championship to L2 mediocrity under Mr Rupps stewardship

In the 67 years I have been following this club fans have always wanted better. Unfortunately better never arrives

 

This IMO is why we need to get promoted this season, Rupp will then have to spend or sell which being a League One club should make it easier to achieve his asking price, that is of course is as long as he doesn't think because were League One he can slap another XXX on his asking price.
I'd suggest if the price of £10M is correct its a big wad to spend on a football club that may never own its own stadium, let's hope when we go back cap in hand to Gordon Gibb we might get a clause written in the new deal that allows us to pay rent with regards the League we are playing in, as was on offer to Julian I'm given to believe, and has a fan base that is entirely dependant on a very fair pricing structure.

It's taken him long enough to grasp the basics behind what's required to give your investment the best chance to improve don't you think, I'm not privy to the money that was squandered under Rahic (maybe you are as someone nearer the club) but he's hardly thrown transfer fee money since he gave Rahic the heave-ho, he's been more than happy for us to be self sufficient during that time.

 

Self sufficient is good though, right?
