Felt this had been coming for a while, the best of all 3 parties. There have been some positive signs with him and Fulham clearly think he's got some potential to give him a 2 year deal in the summer. He needs to find a club where he'll be the main striker to get some confidence going and score some goals.

 

My grandsons are of a similar age and I can just see them doing something daft like that. Although they have always shown respect for our annual memorial. When younger they knew they had to stand still and be quiet.

It seems a precarious place to put a memorial shirt to me.

I was one of those who you were debating it with at the time but I definitely wasn't saying they were the same role, just that they were similar in some respects and required skills transferable between the two, so you either misunderstood me or someone else was saying something different to what I was

 

Surely by now Bobby has shown enough to wear the shirt especially when Richards is fit. GA dropped him against Chesterfield but soon realised his error.

Ok then, according to Wiki (the font of all knowledge ) he's only got 3 goals in 28 appearances.....that is not what I want through the door by any means. Might as well have just kept Sanderson(!)

It might be a case of horses for courses. If they stay fit and keep their form Patto and Sarce are first names on the sheet. In the 2 mins we saw of him Lapslie looked a bit more physical than Bobby so might be preferred for some games. I do agree however that Pointon and Richards are developing a great playing relationship down that left side

 

Only had 3 starts though. L1 is a big step up in class from the shite in L2.

In L2, he hit 10 in 21 for Walsall last season. Only 20 years old so I will wait and see on this one - if it comes off.

 

It's 3 goals in 28 apps, but he's only managed just over 1,100 minutes this season in all comps. In L1 this season, he's only managed 647 minutes from 21 apps, so about half an hour per appearance he manages. It's tough to put up numbers if you're not playing two thirds of the game.

In L2 he was electric for Walsall last season. It would be similar to Mellon, we are hoping last seasons form comes true once again after the player has had a slow first half of the season.

 

You'd hope so. But we've paid two fees for Lapslie and soon to be Leigh as well as the lads already in the building. Attacking midfield is really stack at the minute with first team names.

 

You really can't have enough goods players. For once it appears that we are signing better players than we already have in the 1st XI. Upgrades, unheard of recently.

 

Apparently we are bringing in Matthew Hoppe on a free after he was released by Middlesbrough earlier today. American striker, 23 years old, 6ft3.

 

Weve seen Sarc and Patts miss chunks this season already so unsure why fok are booing over the amount of CM/AM at our disposal.

We are accounting for injuries, suspension, rotation and loss of form. About time...

 

I may be wrong as I've never seen our players in a race as such but our centre backs don't seem quick so bringing in someone with pace is critical given the way we're playing with a higher line and one of the three centre back being particularly high up the pitch. Whether it is him or someone else, it feels an important move.

 

Kid played Bundelisga in his teens. 6 in 24. Very decent that.
