What I mean is a main centre forward, and two guys roaming in the 10 role who were often pulling wide . Either way my point stands that the left forward(10l and wing back were Haliday and Baldwin's men

 

Haliday and Baldwin could have been the other way around in terms of who they were picking up. But either way the MK men needed closing down, so Baldwin was justified for hos position (IMO).

It was Byrne's positioning that lead to the hole.

Anyway, like I say I do agree there are still question marks on the defense as a whole. But I've been a fan of Baldwin so just looking to defend him

 

I think Baldwins place looks the safest of the 3. Unless Johnson really was brought in to potentially offer an option there then he's the one that doesn't really have direct competition.

Recalled by Exeter, rather than us releasing him....destined for non-league I would say. Unimpressive signing IMHO

He showed promise early then went downhill. I'm not surprised Exeter have recalled him, it's probably player version of 'mutual termination'.
The problem for him now is that he's already played for Exeter this season so he can't play for another EFL side so most likely he'll be sat in the stands for Exeter rather than us unless a non-league side wants to take him.

 

His point still stands though.

Looked like he might have a good game in it at the beginning, but the more I saw of him the less convinced I was.

Either National League Premier or a team like Harrogate, only most likely a small team based down south.

The strongest team in the league is flying high, head and shoulders above us and well clear of everyone else and showing no signs of stopping

To be fair, he started well and had a couple of very decent games. Don’t think anyone can deny that. Sadly as games rolled on and we suffered from injuries at the back, he probably suffered from a lack of leader alongside him. Fair to say he had some poor final games and looked shot of the confidence we saw in the earlier appearances.

Hope for the guy he can find that bit of form we saw. For us, absolutely the right decision. Expect we will see Huntington signed if he can prove his fitness.

Thats what i thought. He played for Exeter in the Cup so he’s snookered now they’ve recalled him?
