The next few weeks? We've had YEARS to work out his intentions and they're clear as a bell to anyone that isn't completely in denial.

Sorry, I don't like to single out players. I just keep my thoughts to myself.

I keep hoping that we can offload him to some other club.

If he can get an 18 month contract, then it would bridge him after his City deal expires in summer. Even if it means paying part of his remaining salary.

He uses up one of the senior registered player slots.

    He has bombed at City.

Apparently this season he has ‘featured’ in 11 games, No Goals, No Assists!

I love Vadaine O as much as much as someone else loves Aden B!;)

I did my medial ligament playing football and was in absolute agony immediately! I'm not ashamed to say that I had tears in my eyes it was that bad and definitely couldn't even stand on it, let alone try and walk or run!

Mcburnie came good in the end because Swansea were a Premier League club so had the resources and more importantly the time to develop him. Although not a prolific goal scorer he certainly doesn't get bullied now.

That solid centre back you are probably referring to is now playing in the second worse defence in the top 8 , just saying . Even dafter they have conceded the same amount as us ..identical. It’s a silly comparison anyway let’s be honest . Compare players for sure but entire defences??

They are all bang average when it comes down to it with minor exceptions . Platt went for more money after turning down an even bigger contract offer on his previous deal, ( like Lapslie did) which I don’t think anyone , especially me , begrudged him .

Baldwin was a complete kangaroo yesterday no question, but just watch some of Notts County’s conceded goals if I were you if you want defensive comparisons .
Yesterday both Walsall goals were Platts fault imho , I kid you not, one was a schoolboy mis kick in the box and the other he lost his marker completely.

As they say it’s a funny old game!

A cheeky bid for this Harling might be in order.

Cheltenham conceding a lot of goals, Stubbs again proving to be just a bang average L2 defender...5 conceded for cheltenham on 29th Dec, quote

'Jatta capitalised on Stubbs' error before rounding Joe Day in the 26th minute and Martin finished calmly after a fine ball through from Matt Palmer opened up the home defence.'

It was a stupid penalty to give away. The guy was running away from goal. All he had to do was push him wide. An amateur tackle.

Suppose it's not the same for everyone.
I've done ACL on same knee twice and had surgery twice.
I had to weight a year for surgery and in that year I did the great north run, york marathon and yorkshire warrior with no pain it just used to give way if turned on it.

This has been the most frustaiting part of the season for me so far. You can look at every goal and pick out defensive mistakes but a lot goals we've conceded have been basic, fundamental mistakes that seems to happen every game and it's why we've one of the lowest amount of goals conceded but very few clean sheets.

As you say he has no need to make the tackle. For the 2nd goal I've got no problem with Sarcevic trying someone and losing the ball in the attacking 3rd but then he should recognise they are breaking away and take a yellow card for the team. Byrne has the chance to sacrifice himself for the team and pull down the attacker and take the red card then of course Walker needs to sort his feet out a lot better, he almost seemed surprised by the shot.

Agree, he got over in plenty of time, he just needed to push him further onto his right foot. If the lad lashes it in the top corner with a great shot then fair play to him but he just waited for Baldwin to come close and fell over. Totally obvious it was going to happen.

Got to disagree with this bit of your comment. Had Byrne done that, it would have been down to 10 men and with a penalty, then they are likely to score. I doubt we would have then scored. Keep your 11 options and you can recover, as we did.
