I don't understand this approach of deciding an arbitrary period over which to judge results. It feels like it's just a way of trying to make things feel better or worse than they are.

We won the Port Vale and Chesterfield matches and deservedly so. If our defenders could defend and if our attacking players took on the responsibility to cross or short we would have beaten Barrow. A draw was a poor result.

2 points dropped today, we were in complete control and the better team until some shocking defending. Hopefully we can get Huntington back soon and bring in another quality CB as it will cost us our best chance at promotion since returning to this level.

 

Our defence will cost us promotion, I called it in August and unless they change it in January then we're destined for another season in this division.

Your lack of ambition is clear to see. Nothing but 3 points today was needed to keep the momentum going but we capitulated and defended like a sunday league team and you are happy! Hopefully we have enough fans at the club who demand more, otherwise we are going nowhere very fast.

No one expected us to win our 2 home games and at times we were lucky.
Disappointing we didn’t get all 3 wins but where we were 5 games ago, I think most will take this

 

Walker won't have looked disinterested, we managed his contract situation beautifully in the Summer.

Imagine his gratitude at being offered a worse deal, then having his old one enforced for a further year anyway.
