One more comment on Sars, after my earlier post that he looks like hes got a season ticket at Greggs and sometimes moves slower than my Walking Football teams - but I watched him carefully particularly in the 2nd half, we know hes not up to full fitness but he is so often in the right place. Some of his passing was either just underhit or overhit, but hopefully as his deftness of touch returns we will see more rewards

 

I have a feeling we will have one of our good runs now for January, causing us to flirt 1-2 points behind them. We won't improve the team, heavily drop off and finish the season 15th

 

This result means feck all.

It’s shitter than that, we’re only 6 points off 2nd

 

I was right in front of me and it looked like their player put an elbow up to block Sarcevic and caught him either in the face or neck area once you do that you are going to be very lucky to get away without a red card. The 4th official was the one that saw it, the angle from the TV camera doesn't show the incident at all.

 

If we can keep our home form going it gives us a chance of getting in the top 7 and it keeps some positivity going. Today was the 1st of 4 home games playing team in the top 3/play off fight and a good start but they did look to be a side out of form and struggling to score goals.

I thought Walker did really well today, not just with the big save at 2-1 but he came out and caught or punched away a lot of crosses taking a lot of pressure off the defense.

 

Yup, helps us cope with the highs and lows of watching City
Especially the lows as there are plenty to consume

 

Last week within the debacle that was Notts County I thought there were some promising moments. Most laughed at that. I think I will say the same today. City are not rubbish. We have some lads who can play. They provided good entertainment this afternoon.

Some weaknesses are likely to keep us out of the promotion spots. Above all Andy needs and deserves a useful partner. If one could be found in the coming window we would have a chance. Finding one will not be easy - but spend any available money on such a player.
