I wasn’t insinuating you were, apologies if it came across as such. I think I said “ so called fans”. I didn’t use the word you or one did I?.

You've given up on going away for 18 months so you've forgotten about the pain of shelling out a good amount of money on trying to motivate a bunch of lazy arses for an hour then been driven into despair and reacting to what you've witnessed.

No, no, Holloway was just harnessing the power of diverse ideas and opinions while playing the part of an emotional conduit.

The life of a professional footballer is a privilege. Obviously lower league players don't earn the mega bucks of the elite but are paid above the average worker.
Maybe if they had to work 9-5 in a factory or wherever they may appreciate their occupation more and realise that for 90 minutes they need to give that 100%.
Players that came late into the game and were a success e.g. Waddle (sausage maker) , Pearce (electrician) and Vardy (factory worker) realised their pasts and grasped their new opportunity.

You could pull 11 fans from the crowd and they’d give 1000% but still lose the game.
Players dont set out to give less than 100% I’m certain of that, it’s just they aren’t good enough. It’s that simple.

Imo that's exactly where we're heading if we continue on this path anyway. Continued poor performance will mean fans drifting away, lower crowds means less off field revenue which means a bigger struggle to balance the costs and even poorer players through the door.

At some point you have to try and swim because there's only so long that you can tread water before you eventually tire and go under and we've been treading water for far too long already.

Ability and effort are two different things. Fans can excuse ability if they put in 100% effort. I disagree about the players effort at times this season.

That strategy is clearly not working. You need to evaluate your level of support to enable the club to move forwards.

    Yep.

You can't stand still. You simply can't. We know what it's like to experience a horror season seemingly out of nowhere, and we have to stop pretending we're immune just because League Two is so poor.

We are one disastrous season away from the end of Bradford City as we know it, and the longer we're in League Two the more likely we are to be swallowed up by the non league abyss.

I think there's a sense we're safe in this division for as long as it takes, but we're not. We should have been safe in League One, but the above table is a stark, stark reminder that we're not too big to overcome incompetence, and we've got plenty of that in the building.

I was at Oldham prior to lockdown in another shambles of a performance. I let rip at Jake Reeves giving away a corner and credit to the boy, he gave it back. So I agree with your sentiments but I also expect a commitment when doing ines job. I do in my workplace

If we are gonna drown anyway I’d rather do it in Lister park pond (league 2) than Esholt sewage works (NL).
If we went down we’d spend decades down there, that’s even if we came back at all.
