If Rupp still owns us which is more likely than not , he’s already proved he’s not willing to “ invest “ substantially more than “ heads above water.” ( Sustainability) People cited Wrexham , Stockport, Chesterfield, Notts County and now York as examples . One thing everyone forgets , money was no object to “ fund “ a return for these clubs and for every one named we could name two others out of Oldham , Bury, Rochdale. Southend , Dag & Red, Sutton, Hartlepool , Yeovil and so on and on I can go where it’s crippled them !
So anyone believing with Rupp at the helm , or indeed anyone without funds to invest massive amounts will see us “going places“ and “ will do us good” by dropping out of the EFL is off their chuffing rocker ! It may hurt Rupps investment, who cares about him, but as sure eggs is eggs it won’t do the club or its lifeblood , the supporters any good whatsoever. We won’t be able to afford VP or its upkeep so where we going to play that meets NL ground requirements for starters ?

 

Yeah, the expression on Bobby Pointon's face at the end said it all really. I don't recall any away side coming to VP and being abused by their own fans to that extent. Some fans need to grow up and handle disappointment. IMHO.

Im not sure you are replying to the right person, I've never said anything about wanting us to drop out of the EFL. I unequivocally don't want us to be relegated, never have done never will.

Forgotten the "bag of bitterness" post already Kev? Plenty at the club blame the fans as a way of desperately trying to conceal their countless mistakes but more and more can now see the real picture and regardless of the smoke and mirrors, of all the people connected to the club the fans certainly have the clearest concience.

 

Is it still just "disappointment" after 7 years?

 

No it's total disgust at what these people have done to our club. Long standing fans are checking out of the club in their droves, and frankly any vitriol poured out yesterday has come about because they actually care which is more than can be said about the likes of Rupp, Sparks and Co.
Watching City has long since stopped being enjoyable. Under GA it's an awful watch even when we win. So yes I'm off the scale of feeling bitter!!!!!

 

We have handled disapointment for near on 8 years along with the blatant lies etc so sorry at some point its gonba break i was more amazed that folk where clapping that shambles after the game .........

 

Btw wasnt Holloway involved in an incident last week ?????
Still i suppose its our fault we should simply turn up watch an half hearted performance and clap them for there lack of effort after yet another pee poor performance

 

Just watched that bloggers report on the game. There are fans robustly clapping and doing heart gestures to the players at the end of the game. I hope they were being sarcastic.
