Clearly not in contention here, so he needs to move. For his sake and ours - hopefully the wages will go into much needed loan signings.

 

90% of what gets reported on that site is bollocks but I can see this one being true. Latest in a line of good players and staff pushed out by these lunatics we have running the show.

 

Thought he’d have been a dead cert to join Stuart and Rory at Scunny.

 

Ah well, he’s a good pro and i’m Sure a future manager (not at City, he too old!) but the wailing and morning over his departure is a little OTT. Yes he was player of the year but let’s face it, he didn’t have much competition, in fact all he had to do was turn up and look interested.
People forget that the season before he was understudy for Rory and was as likely to play leftback as centre half. He was deemed by Stuart as not one of the best two centre half’s at the club. With our new signings he’s back to being not in the starting 11.
Odd decision not to have him on the bench however in the scheme of things it’s not the oddest, strangest or most bemusing decision MC has made this season. Good luck to him, hope he gets a good move.

Totally agree Jon. Under normal circumstances, the loss of kilgallon might not amount to as much, but when you look at our 'squad depth' and the possible reasons that are leading to his departure, it does become more concerning. He strikes me as 'a leader', maybe i am wrong, but - we don't need any players of that ilk round our club right now ...

Hendrie, McCall, Colin Doyle and now Killa. all shafted by the overlord. the latter just because he happened to be pals with McCall. and those are only the ones we know of.
reckon there's at least one or two others.

 

Disgraceful treatment of a player who gave his all when no-one else did, and we know (however naive you want to be) that this isn't the first, and probably won't be the last. Collins has lied about the Kilgallon situtation, quite simply put. I'm usually one of the so-called "happy clappers" but struggling to see any positives at the moment. Club under a dictatorship, rookie head coach, poor performances, poor results and poor treatment of players.

...I honestly believe we'll bring no more than a CM in on loan by the time the window closes, I hope I'm wrong, but have absolutely no faith in the owners right now to get it right.
