You enjoy the pre match warm up and are VERY easily pleased.

Missed today's game-went to Halifax xmas market-much more entertaining by all accounts.

 

Why? Pointin was miles better than Kavannah in the second half.

 

Pattison is going to be key to our chances of success this season in my opinion.

He plays with so much energy and has the knack of timing his runs splitting defences. Let's hope he can stay fit for the rest of the season.

I would be looking to extend Huntington's contract until the end of season. Despite his advancing years, he is still a very good defender at this level.

I would also be looking to extend Evans contract unless the injury he suffered today is likely to keep him out for a long period.

As for the game. I've just about thawed out now, wasn't expecting it to be so cold!. It wasn't exactly an exciting game to keep you warm. A very welcome 3 points though.

Never in trouble at the back. Enjoying the Richards/Shepherd combination down the left. Still don't get the stick some fans give our defence. EOnce again it was a lack of creating good chances that let us down today. Ryan Delaney had Cookie in his pocket today. Kavanagh and Pointon energetic and bright sparks without creating too much though, if that makes sense.

Good to see Sarcevic get 30 minutes, would love to see him and Pattison play together for an extended run in the new year.

 

He was arguing with some City fans behind the dugout at full time then some in the TL Dallas as he was walking back to the changing rooms. Such an awful appointment, not just how bad he's been as a manager recently but after he left Grimsby he did an interview which said his scouting didn't work in league 2 and he didn't want another job in league 2.

 

He's totally bonkers and I don't understand why any club would still take him on.

 

You missed a solid performance

 

Swindon and Carlisle down would be a shock as two of the larger clubs in the league who have been around forever, but they were the worst teams I've seen this season. Holloway won't turn that ship around.

I know we all are entitled to our own views but i'm gonna have vehemently disagree with your comment on it being an entertaining game. It was anything but entertaining, a piss poor spectacle that loosely resembled professional football. For most of the game both sides even struggled with the basics of passing a football. I also concede that your bar on what is perceived to be entertainment is a lot lower than mine.

 

This is still the biggest problem for us - creating chances.

From 4:41 of his post match interview he's talking about the fan he was arguing with and talks down the camera to him saying not to come again if he wants to keep complaining

 

Telling fans not to come to games if they don’t like it is a slippy slope and will only end one way.

 

Agree with all of that plus from what I have seen of Baldwin he looks a good player despite all the negativity before he signed

Yeah but there's loving it cos you're a fan and making a statement that it was entertaining. Hey its not for me to tell you what to find entertaining but christ if you found that entertainment i pity you.

 

Unfortunately I have to agree but Alexander must have seen how Pattison and Evans went about their business against Stockport for 60 minutes, looking at todays substitution of Evans around 60 minutes it looks like Alexander isn't rushing him into doing the full 90 minutes.
