If we end up drawing this it will be a decent result. We've definitely adapted better to the conditions than them. They have struggled to play.

Problem is, while this could be a decent point, it shows how we've wasted so many chances to get more points this season so one point doesn't really help right now. Very possible we'll end up in 12th by 6pm.

I agree it's not going to cause him any real damage but it's definitely classed as violent conduct. Players get sent off for tiny little kick outs all the time. Not dangerous but petulant and likely to escalate.

 

The time of the year when football fans get suspicious of players picking up silly red card as it means they'll get the boxing day game off. I'm not saying he's done it deliberately at it but it's the type of red cards to fuel the conspiracy.

 

Not sure what he is supposed to do in that split second he kicked the ball presumably to clear, I think it was harsh it was not a stamp I dont see what's violent about it it is going for the ball and getting the ball not the man. The ref did however have his whistle in his mouth so maybe he can say he had blown.
