You could see during the hand bags the ref was itching to get to his back pocket, but it should never have come to that Pattison was stupid.

 

Im with you. When did that ever become a red card? Ok kicking the ball away and yellow, but cannot see how the ref says he intended to kick it on Bogles face when he was just landed on the ground.

 

It's a clear red card to smash the ball into a player on the floor when the play has stopped.

 

Possibly a bit harsh but total stupidity from Pattison

 

Kicking the ball at a downed opponent on purpose which everyone saw is violent conduct these days, straight red and a 3 game ban. They know the rules, just a dumb decision.
