Very good first half, no complaints with the stuff we've tried to play and could have had a couple of goals.

 

In the conditions, that was a very good half from City.

 

Not much in this at all.

Definitely there for the winning in the 2nd half.

 

Much better today so far. Must be horrible playing in that though.

 

Can't score a 1 v 1 though.

 

Looked busy, shown intent, good effort - all things considered we have played well. Kav hitting the post was unlucky.

Wind or not, one thing is still clear, we really lack quality in this team.

 

Don’t see anything in Crewe whatsoever .
I like the better pace up front .

No complaints , best side so far considering the wind imho .

Officials consistently wrong in the decision process

 

No, although the keeper was out very quickly and did well.

 

It been decent after the first missed 5 mins .

 

I wont drink in a sticky carpet pub for free !

 

We actually look so much better when we pass the ball about rather than hoofing hopeful balls forward. Similarities with Wycombe in the cup last season perhaps when again Cook wasn't playing. Someone else needs to take responsibility and score though!

 

Really good performance in that 1st half, well played lads.

Bang on the money Dave !

 

Playing like this highlights the need for a quick powerful striker

 

Having Pattison, Pointon, Walker and Kavanagh has made us much more mobile and helped remove the disconnect between midfield and attack that we saw against Barrow.

 

Just needs pace and quality. Few times we could break and rhe pass has been poor. Crafting in that final third, we just lack that cutting edge.

 

Strange how the majority of games in Wales and the West coast are postponed Liverpool derby, Blackpool, Barrow, yet the Morecambe game goes ahead.

 

Pointon having a good game but showed again how one-footed he is. In the build up to Kavs shot, Pointon made a great run,g ot himself into a great position to shoot, but was on his right foot so ended up going wide to Richards instead. Pointon ran round on the overlap though and ended up delivering the cross for Kavs effort, but the better chance had probably gone

 

I'm sure Andy Cook would benefit from the team playing the type of football we've seen the first half instead of the direct stuff we've seen that is not his game.
