    I was on the front row with my nephew who was about 7 or 8 at the time, when he scored and ran by our fans they ran forwards so I looked back as I did quid coin smacked me the forehead

    I got hit by a pie (back of the head) standing on the kop before the league cup quarter final against Bristol City in 1989.

    Didn’t keep the pie.

    It was so devastating I haven’t been back for……..15 years!!! Yep beautiful day in August. Sat out near the Trent for a couple of beers. It was the season of the Boulding Brothers (although we only saw one and they should have produced true comedies). A season that started with the usual optimism, lasted 17 minutes…….

    Really looking forward to this one. Great away day with hopefully loads travelling, should be a cracking atmosphere.
