    Don't know which is correct but Met Office forecast differs somewhat..

    It doesn't matter how good the improved drainage system is, if the frost got into the pitch on Tuesday night then the rain may have nowhere to go.

    I see Halifax Town's home match, scheduled for tomorrow, has already been called off due to a frozen pitch.

    The issue is not snow, or even the temperature, but what looks to be very heavy rain (storm Bert). If the pitch has been covered, then ice/frost shouldn’t be an issue, but will the pitch drain effectively? Looks like it is the heavy waterproofs for the match.

    I think it's time we go back to a 4-2-3-1 and utilise players like Walker, Pointon and Oduor in more attacking positions. Our strikers aside from Cook are dog muck so why try to force two strikers on the pitch. Drop Halliday who has been rubbish all season and get Benn in at RB of a more traditional back four. Go back to basics

    Tonnes of snow here in Nab Wood this morning. It will clear in the rain but all that waters got to sit somewhere. Cant see the pitch being in a fit state today.

    It is still snowing heavily, not turned to rain yet. I really can't see how the match will be on.

    My app is telling me it will stop snowing about 10ish but these clouds look full and like you say its still really heavy at the minute. Even if it clears, its forecast heavy rain.... think i'll just stay home today regardless!

    If the covers were on and the milder forecast bears out over the morning, it's doable. My guess though, is that it'll be one of few games in the country called off.

    Only 4x4s getting anywhere, it's turning to sleety rain now but would need to piss it down to clear this lot

    It’s all about the surrounding areas also. Making sure it’s safe. It’s not just about the pitch.

    Think this will be called off or it should be.

    Even if they can get the game on, with rain melting the snow later on, can we not destroy the pitch for the sake of one fixture this season
