Interesting Interview with David Sharpe

He talks some utter bollocks. On the verge of what? We've scored 4 goals all November so far and 3 of those were against non-league Aldershot. We've had 1 clean sheet in all competitions in the last 2 months which was against a struggling at the time Tranmere team. We've had 50 shots in the league in the last month and scored 3 times, one set piece and I dunno if you can still call Cooks goal at Colchester a set piece goal, but the defence and attack were still setup in a corner routine I suppose. Either way, we cant create a single thing in open play.

Seriously, what are we on the verge of? Becoming the most mediocre club in the EFL? I know what Graham is on the verge of if we don't win on Saturday.

 

Our club was summed up pretty well for me this morning....

I was in the Costa Coffee drive thru in Shipley and there was a big Audi in front, lined up pretty much as far away from the window as possible. I thought what is this clown doing, surely driving near a window isn't too difficult? He was struggling to reach to pay, he had to open the door to get out and pay then grab his coffee he was that far away from the cashier, then I realised I recognised the driver....... it was Mark Trueman.

 

Like us he was nearly there

Incredibly coiffed, a man can only dream of that alignment. I tried sneaking a photo but my paparazzi skills aren't great, literally all I got was his fantastic fringe placement and a struggling arm.

So in s nutshell our season is now reliant on Andy Cook getting enough goals to keep us in the mix ????

Simply shows that the recruitment should be fooked off NOW before they have another window to get it right

As much as he likes scoring goals and is obviously very good at it at this level,the fact that once again the whole clubs hopes of promotion are placed on Cook’s shoulders is not only scandalous and sad it’s also highly expected.

To be in this position going in to the January window in 5 weeks yet again is proof that the whole recruitment set up is absolute dogshit.

If proper help for Cook (not some kid from a youth set up) isn’t the absolute number 1 priority in Jan then we might as well just give up.
