According to the Northern Echo, Finch is still with MK Dons and: "He played for Boro in the Carabao Cup defeat to Stoke City earlier this season. But having played in that game and for MK Dons, he won't be able to join another club on loan this season."

I think we might need more to be fair. Walker seems to be just having too many brain farts to be a promotion keeper this season. CBs are all incredibly ropey, LWB is the ever needing hole to be filled and both are now injured.

We can't seem to solve the CM issue either with a raft of injury prone players signed in that part of the pitch. And the request we have every window, finding a partner for Cook. Minimum of 5 for me.

 

But we're not and that is primarily the issue. It's all about sustainability

 

Fully agree mate, that infamous word is definitely keeping us in the mire and unfortunately unless something happens at the top its here to stay for the forseeable, iff this continuous i honestly can see crowds drop below 7000, this lot at the top have tested the patience of fans long enough.

 

We won't be bringing anyone decent in unless some move on. Carlisle fans reckon they're in for Cook, but I doubt he would be interested unless they offer him a lot of money. I know it's close to home for him, but he's pretty much settled with us and would be surprised if he didn't finish his career here

 

Not sure about that.If City don't improve before Jan,I think Cook might think enough is enough,and listen to the offers which will undoubtedly come.

 

And if he did who could possibly blame him.

 

Cookie could easily regret scoring all these goals for City when he realises that they were all in vain and he could have had more satisfaction elsewhere with a club with ambition...
