    Technically, the 'blackout' won't be in effect this Saturday.

    If I understand the rules correctly (UEFA Article 48), then the 'blackout' only comes into effect when 50% or more of the matches in the top two divisions (i.e. Premier League and Championship) are taking place at the same time as the 'blackout' hours (14:45 to 17:15). This Saturday only 9 of the 22 Premier League and Championship matches fall within the 'blackout' hours, so less than the 'required' 50%, so the 'blackout' is not in force.

    When do the March 15 tv choices get announced? Might need to know if it impacts us when booking flights.

    The matches between mid-January and the first weekend in March 2025 have already been selected and should be announced imminently. Thereafter, it's a four week rolling basis, so matches for the weekend of 15 March 2025 will be announced around 15 February 2025.

    If you were hypothetically in France (or indeed any other country), you could watch it, as you are outside of the UK.

    Now some on here can achieve this feat with the power of gadgets and the internet……just like that.

    Digitally you can ‘materialise’ in another country!
