Decent first half. Both team been pretty even although Doncaster looked more dangerous, especially on the break.

Pointon and Wright linking up well, Pointon overall had a really good game.

 

They look the better side for me. Not by much, but they're edging it. We need to up our game second half. It's crying out for sme composure in the middle and another quality option up top.

 

Don’t agree with this. Smith has been decent. He’s looking far more effective than Kavanagh has in recent weeks, running in behind and holding the ball up.

 

Yeah, but for who? Kavanagh? Offers nothing. Oliver? Doesn't offer much either. Maybe we could get Evans on and push Walker further forward

 

Agreed. And being a nuisance to the centre backs. Way more direct than Kav. However, he doesn’t seem to be on the same wavelength as cook. They have been times, when they have got in each other’s way.

Not a bad game, fairly even with them shading the last 15. Feels like we’ve lost the composure we had in the first 25. Both teams poor with their final ball.

 

We’ve been crying out for this for the last 5 or 6 seasons.

 

Not sure it'd work, but open to trying it. Because none of our other options for a Cook partner work either. We need to ship 2 or 3 out in Jan, and bring in a quality forward. Do that, and we've got a decent chance of top 3 I reckon, because this is a poor, poor League 2

True. If Evans can't do 60-70 mins, let alone 45, what was the point in bringing him in?

Also, anyone know what the crack is with Pattison and Sarcevic? How long are they out for?

 

I would bring Kavanagh on if for nothing else the kid gives his all.

 

He's had several chances and not scored. Need to give Smith a decent chunk of a match. Can't expect a player who hasn't started since April to come on and be Messi at the first chance

Walker doesn't half let some cheap goals in
