Agree with that. He needs to remind them "don't get booked for being a dick. Kicking the ball away, time wasting, arguing with the ref......."

I don't agree that the team that started on Saturday was our strongest. As well as Halliday played,if fit I would bring Benn back,he gets up and down the line much quicker than Halliday, and is prepared to cross from the by line, whereas Halliday prefers to put balls into the box from a lot further out.I would also prefer Richards to Wright. He is a better defender, can put in a good cross, and has more strength than Wright, who for me has been disappointing.

Confirmed by BBC: Stubbs is unavailable due to playing his parent club. He's their best rated Centre half according to Whoscored. With the highest interceptions for them standing out.

Also his partner at the back and captain (Scott Bennett) was subbed at half time on Saturday so could be doubtful for tomorrow. They've shipped quite a few goals as the match preview details so hopefully we can take advantage!

Agree with all of that, but I would like to see Evans start in place of Odour. mainly to add some extra experience and perhaps use Odour as a sub later when Evans tires, but also to give Evans some game time as he looks like the only replacement we currently have for Smallwood, Smallwood rarely gets injured I know, but he picked up another yellow on Saturday and will likely be suspended in the next month or so

Time to make up for Grimsby, Harrogate and Walsall! We need a win tomorrow if we are serious about promotion! Saturday, on paper is a much tougher call. Settle for 4 points out of the two matches, but really really want the big 6!

Two wins would be nice, but a 7-0 win tomorrow would be welcome too.

I would normally agree, except on this occasion I do think we need to make sure Byrne is available for the Donny game as he is the only fit CB we have with even half a chance of keeping Sharp quiet

Not massively worried about Sharp. He hasn't scored in a 7 or 8 games now, doesn't do 90 minutes too often either and they've had to change system to try accommodate him already, switching from 4231 to 352 with wingers as full backs to give him a hand..... nailed on hat trick on saturday now.

I wouldn't be against that. I think, away from home especially, dropping one off the 8s slightly deeper to play alongside Smallwood would hopefully give us a stronger base to work from and stop giving up so many chances. The problem might be that we've only these two that can play the role so any suspensions or injuries and it's back to just the one sitter again.

My mates a Donny fan, he was getting carried away with Sharps good start to the season but even when he was scoring he could only manage an hour or so most games. Not sure why some wanted him here, i know he always scores against us but i'm not worried about Donny at all saturday. He may well score but i back us to score a few at home

On the yellows, the threshold changes from 5 yellows for a one match ban after Matchday 19, which at the minute is the Accrington home game on Nov 23rd. Ten yellows accumulated by Matchday 32 will result in a two-match ban. Fifteen yellows by Matchday 38 means a three-match ban. As said in the thread above we have Walker, Shepherd and Byrne all one yellow away from suspension. Wright, Cook and Smallwood all on 3 yellows. Zero faith in any of the lads on 4 making it to matchday 19 without a ban, Byrne has managed 4 yellows in 643 minutes of L2 football, Shep with 4 in 663 minutes.... F knows what they are doing.

Vadaine currently has 2 yellows and 2 shots from 84 minutes of L2 football..... a ban or a L2 goal, what's coming first?

But is he as good in training as Kurtis Guthrie?

I personally (If both fit) would play Halliday in away games where we may be under more pressure. Benn looks very good going forward and a real threat, but defensively very poor. So When at home where we would expect to be in control of the ball most of the time and attacking, he'd start for me.

I think it depends on who plays on the other side too. As you say, Benn is more attacking and Halliday is more defensive. Similar story on the left with Wright and Richards. I don't think we should look to start Halliday and Richards at wing back, as we saw last season they naturally drop back and we get pegged into a back 5 very easily and the out balls just aren't on and we lose all plan. I think if all 4 are fit, you need to play Benn or Wright as you need someone wide to get up and down the line quicker with Walker/Oduor filling in their side too offering a hand.

Same formation as last Saturday , however as Dave suggests earlier, Evans for Odour maybe, but certainly, without question , Richards for Wright and depending if Benn has recovered , him in for Halliday ( The latter idea wouldn’t worry me either way Jordan )
