Just a pity some folk can’t wait to stick it on social media just to get a few likes. Very unfair to tar 2000 city fans with the “hooligan” brush for the antics of 4 or 5 numpties. Happens at most clubs, we aren’t unique having a few over excited pissed-up spastics in our fan base

Nobody, and I mean nobody sits in the seat allocated on their ticket. If I got a bill for a broken seat, I’d tell them where to go. Some of the shitholes in this league, they should be paying US to sit in them!

You have ask why the stewards didn't make those in rows A,B,C,D,E,F,G H, sit down, as I posted we were about 10 rows from the front, I think the stewards are talking a load of crap, and can't believe for one minute that is club policy and they are given that information yet don't implement it ?.

If it was our fans who broke them by standing on them why shouldn't Tranmere or their fans highlight it, we'd be the first complain and rightly so if the likes Doncaster, Carlisle, Grimsby who bring a large following broke seats because their fans fancied standing on them instead of sitting down which those in that video had no intention of doing, the vast majority supported our club in the correct manor singing chanting and generally supporting our club unfortunately we have an element who don't seem to be happy with that and openly tell us "no pyros no party", fortunately the Tranmere stewards did their job as on the day we didn't see any pyros.

Certain Away fans often cause damage to midland road in one way or another dave, the difference is it doesn’t get highlighted as nobody in the public eye sees it, it gets rectified by the next home match

Just because we don’t cry about it on Twitter or Facebook, doesn’t mean to say it hasn’t happened and they were all well behaved visitors

Which fans have broken seats at VP in recent memory? Not sure why you are trying to deflect from the fact we have some absolute c0cks who travel away which regularly get highlighted for being so. We should and will probably pay for damage caused at Tranmere.
What was your reaction to the pyro at Crewe last season?

I would hope the club would have highlighted it, if it's criminal damage then the visiting club should be held responsible.
I have to say I was surprised the amount of fans standing in many areas on Saturday, usually you can see like minded fans who will stay seated which to be fair I thought we'd done just that at Tranmere, good job I've had the old hips replaced or I'd have struggled.

All the issues of unruly idiots attending our away games can be stopped very quickly by NEVER putting tickets on general sale or allowing pay on day.

Where did I say we didn’t have some idiots?? Doesn’t every club?

And what on earth has the Crewe game got to do with owt?! for the record my opinion is probably the same then as it is now….we were utter gash that day, and threw it away regardless of the stoppage for the pyro on the pitch. I was more concerned at some of our fans using that as excuse to deflect the attention away from how crap the players were. Bottled it when it mattered, not for the first time that season either(!)

I was going to say just work out who was sat in the seat from the tickets sold but then I remembered that seating is never enforced at away matches so it would be pointless

Not on the stairs and aisleways though surely....that was my point. It led to 2 young kids getting injured and needing first aid attention...that could and should have been avoided!!

I choose to locate away from the so called "Element" at away games by choice.
Simply implementing my own unreserved seating policy.
I have and will move if I'm sat in someone's preferred ticketed seat but generally find somewhere else easy enough.
Unreserved Away seating should be rolled out across the leagues it would hopefully bring to an end so much unnecessary grief amongst fans before a ball is kicked.

We thought we'd done just that as the fans around us were talking with the odd chant but nothing to think once the game started they would be up on their feet for 90 minutes plus, as I replied to SteveC I managed to stand with the odd sit down something I couldn't have done before my ops, my point is we were so near the front there was absolutely no need to stand, yet we're told the Tranmere stewards directive is to allow standing (in a seated area) after the first 8 rows, which I can't believe any responsible football clubs safety officer would give stewards that directive.

Really good idea to travel to Tranmere with Byrne.

Now other players are ill. Well done, City.

Doubt it because you only ever see them at local away games with large away capacities.
Won’t be anywhere to be seen at Cheltenham on Tues night. I might even be able to sit down.

Every mainstream paper printing over the last day that American rapper asap rocky is apparently buying Tranmere. He and a celeb lawyer are heading up a group that are going to purchase 80% of Tranmere for £15m, with a documentary taking place covering the purchase and initial parts, similar to welcome to Wrexham.

More rich Americans taking over in the lower leagues!
