I'd still take Sam Stubbs over every single central defender we have at present.

Dropping Cook for Oliver is something we will never forget.....

And yeh, Cook will need time out at some point but we arent even in November.

Whatever is best for the team going forward.
If Cook goes 6 games without scoring or contributing would you leave him in?

 

Play Sanderson with another striker?
Play him as the number 9.
Get a partnership going with someone.
As good as Cook is, we need alternatives.
If Cook is scoring and assisting then great.
If he's not and we slide down the table you'd keep him in and not try something??

 

Yes. He's earned that kind of faith after being so consistent over an extended period.

 

That scenario doesn't really apply to Andy Cook and Bradford City. Not one team in the football league pyramid would drop Andy Cook, even if for some unknown reason he has a drop in form. A goal every second game and a scoring rate since 22/23 second only to Erlin Haaland suggests yeah, he is undroppable.
