Professional performance as PP used to say. Didn't play our best, but struck with conviction.

If you didn’t bet on Andy Cook to score today you must be allergic to money!
Brad done well as a RCB today, might have to stay there for a bit with all these injuries

Good solid away win,not easy when we lose another 2 centre backs. On another note the Carlisle fantastic ownership not going too well.

Best performance of the season that, mind you Tranmere were dire.

Cooky took his 2 chances well. Clean sheet a massive bonus in view of all the injury and illness woes at the back.

Impressed with Oduor for a change today, Kav's impressive assist seemed to do him the world of good.

Smallwood my man of the match today. People say he is a poor captain, but watching close up on tv, you could see he was constantly organising his team mates today and even had a mini tiff with Cook who gave it back!

Big test next week, looking forward to it already, just seen they have actually lost at home to Accrington.

No outstanding team in this league this season, surely we won't gave a better chance than claiming a top 3 spot.

Got some big games coming up, this next 4 or so matches will tell us whether we're above average or better.

Oduor did OK today. Nothing special offensively but is probably our best player at retaining the ball.

Barrow lose 1-0 at home to Morecambe with 66% possession.

    This is a weird league.

Only 4 teams in the league conceded less and 2 of those have a few games in hand.
Our dodgy defence is doing ok

That was a solid performance and entertaining, not gonna be critical of anyone after a great team win - they all did well in my book, proud of the team and team spirit shown.

Been critical of kav this year - as have many (deservedly so), so well done to him today. Looked back to the Kav of last year, linking up with Cook again.

smallwood brilliant. Benn lively. Need to sign him in Jan.

    cook- doing cooky things again.

Easy win, but Wright and (to some extent) Shepherd make me nervous

    well done lads. Nice win

Off on our narrowboat, which is moored over in Cheshire near Poynton. So was able to listen to BBC Radio Merseyside, which gave rather an interesting perspective. To listen to them there was only one side in it, and they were not playing in claret and amber. To be fair to the commentators they were complimentary about both goals, although a few minutes later they were saying Cook was a yard offside for his second.

I thought Shepherd had a great game. Won most of his aerial duels, distribution was good and mopped up a few times when Diabete went missing.

Thought Shepherd was very good today. Always up for the physical battle, win just about every header and showed good composure at times.

You have to ask if some posters on here know anything with regards football, I counted at least three defensive headers from Cook clearing balls from our own penalty box, I get it we can all get a little down with players at times but to post Cook offers nothing if he doesn't score has got to be right up there with the dumbest comment ever, straight away Kav played that great defence splitting ball for Cook to run onto there was never any doubt it would finish up nestling in the back of the Tranmere net.
