Decent first half performance that.

Cook, Walker, Smallwood, Benn and Shepherd having good games.

Halliday having another shocker though, every game he's played he has constantly been done for pace and left standing.

Diabate scares me, he just seems to switch off at times. I'm worried about a second yellow card to be honest today.

Fair play to Patrick, he's improved a lot since his days here, and is by far their best player so far.

 

Decent first half really. We grew into the game and looked more threatening but as usual didn't really create much. Really good instinctive effort from Cook.

Since scoring we've not really been as threatening. We need to keep on the front foot, when we drop off we struggle to put any passes together and they'll inevitably score like Newport did. Let's start the second half on the front foot and get a second.

 

He has steadily looked a dodgy defender after a strong first few games. Maybe that’s his weakness- not thinking

 

Honestly...

I'm seeing two very even sides, one that has an Andy Cook, and one that doesn't.

 

Hopefully it's just rustiness. I'm sure there's a defender there, but he's struggled.

 

Yes honestly, we are carrying a few, they seem to be carrying 11with the crowd on their backs.
They have had one header wide of the post, anything else, Im struggling Jon.

Patrick is all pace, not a lot of ability for me. Missed the first 15 mins, but all I've seen him do so far is boot it 20/30 yards down the line and try win the foot race.

Was certain the ref was going to give Diabate a second yellow when he tried clearing him out.

Why didn't Oduor shoot? Just like Wright in the first half, modern footballers want to walk the ball into the net. So frustrating.
