BCFC won't win anything without a regime change. What a shambles of a laughing stock we are. Bet we aren't even frightening the NL clubs ahead of next season

I think there's a good portion that seem to have retired already!

Oh I don't know. They aren't doing too bad a job at the moment. Mind you, if they do finish top of the table, they won't have won the league, they'll have bought it.

If said player signs and does his job (plays well) they will become hero's that's the other side of the coin mate, I don't think our fan base is any worse that most other clubs.

There's actually not many fan bases better when we are actually served up decent performances on the pitch. The problem is that for too many years now, what we get more often than not is utter dross.

Doncaster must have played well on Saturday but they’ve had some horror shows this season as well. They also lost at Harrogate 2-0 and were hammered by Chesterfield last week.

On the age debate, we have the second oldest average squad in the league at the minute with our average player just over 28 years old. Harrogate are the oldest at 28.3, but they have 5 less players than us. Dads army worked once before?.... far less faith in this sorry lot though. Screams another mid-table season to me unless something magically clicks once again, or we give the January market a good go.

Evans and Smallwood were a CM partnership at Blackburn for two seasons between 17/18 & 18/19, although they were probably in their peak years of 26/27 ish back then, cant imagine these two will be moving as well today.

After hundreds of hours of data analysis, we brought in Richie's mate after a chat in the pub.

Popped in here again for the first time in ages.
    I see nothing has changed.
How well would other teams be doing, with 7, first team player missing through injury.
Not that well i think.Yes i know Johnson has not even kicked a ball yet and i was very sceptical about his signing, we can only hope he comes good,
The Adams injury was a result of a terrible challenge from behind , where their player did not touch any of the ball and was not even deemed a foul by a weak official. The others are part of the game and unfortunately we have a lot ,all at the same time.
We needed to bring in some replacements to help out and the transfer window is shut, so free agents it is.
We have picked up two very experienced players on short term deals, this can only be a good thing if it helps us get through this sticky patch.
I am not bothered how old or young they are, as long as they do the job asked of them.
Who knows they might even help improve us.
Lets see them play before we write them off.

They had two men sent off at against Chesterfield. Horror show or not they are joint top on points and 8th in the form table we are 20th. We have however, a massive opportunity tonight if we win to be only 4 points off top, it appears no one is storming this league as things stand.

We are not winning anything without them either.

I agree with the post. Its just frustrating that everyone could see we were light in centre mid. Whether that being a back up to Smallwood or someone that's pushing him for a starting place.

Stevie Wonder could see we were a holding midfielder short. And here we are, signing 34 yr old Evans, who hasnt played for a year.

The optics don’t look good I agree. Nevertheless sometimes we drop lucky. I give you one Jon Stead?

    I do not disagree.
It should have been addressed better in the summer, but the club believed we had plenty of midfield cover, which we do , for certain positions. I think Adams could have been a good signing given time, did not rate Sarcevic on what i saw.
Pattison and Walker, both good players at this level, but you can not keep them on the pitch long enough.

Agreed but they have to sign in the first place. As we’ve seen with managers, how long will it be before (or has it started), that good players no longer want to come here.

Certain positions yes, but holding midfield no. The players mentioned above are all attacking minded. Add Odour and Pointon to that list as well. Playing Pattison deep is playing him out of position. He's been the only one really that seems happy to run past Cook for through balls and flick on's from midfield.

Let me guess, he’s another player not fit enough to start tonight? If we lose this evening, I think this might be GA’s last signing.

Looks like we are trying a different route altogether. Apparently we've signed a robot dog who will be making their first appearance tonight. Not sure what position they play but in the spirit if diversity, I fully embrace this addition. Welcome to the club, robot dog.

He's played 66 minutes of football since January 2023.... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say he isn't going to be up to speed for a while.

With Huntington too, he's played 9 games of football in the last calendar year, missing a lot of last season with various knocks. At least they are only on short term deals rather than the standard 2 years with another option....
