It's a load of crap that he doesn't do much else. He's one of our best defenders at set pieces, got the most assists last season on top of being top scorer - again, but still there are some that think he's the problem and if he just did a bit more, everything would be alright.

It's like last season all over again.
Hughes changes from a 4-2-3-1 and plays a team that can't play a 3-5-2 and we struggle and look awful and he gets fired.
Injuries this season cause GA to move away from a formation that he has had us playing for nearly a year and trained in during the whole of pre season.
Stick to how we play, play players in those positions and maintain some consistency FFS!!!
All pre season GA said Richards could play LCB.
Today we had NO width what so ever.
Just like last week.
Play a back 3, Diabate, Shepherd, Richards.
Play Wright and Benn on the flanks.
Play Smallwood behind Walker and Odour.
Cook and Sanderson up top.
Pointon is too too weak, Halliday is badly out of form as is Pattison.
Since the change to a back 4 we've scored 1 goal in the league in 2.5 games and looked weak and exposed everywhere on the pitch.
Just because it worked in a BSM match against a reserve side, we've piled pressure on ourselves in the League.

 

Seasons looking grim at the minute
Yes Alexander needs to go but pointless while Mr Rupp and Mr Sparks are at the helm
When the three of them go they can take Sharpe and Gent with them
Root and Branch clear out otherwise nothing changes
Bit more pressure on Sparks, and Alexander or Sharpe or both will be off bet your bottom dollar
Thank God we have an owner willing to invest and give us a team to trouble the top 3 which incidentally includes
Walsall and Barrow

 

Injuries have been a disaster for the squad but we’ve signed injury prone players. Should have kept Gilly but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Does any other league 2 club not have a back up goalkeeper apart from a 39 year old coach who offers zero competition to our first choice keeper? Awful recruitment.
