Rachel Reeves is going after the Covid fraudsters.

£10m wasted on unusable PPE alone. Most from companies owned by Johnson & Co’s mates.

 

They'll spend more on lawyers chasing it than what they get. Right idea though.

 

Throwing money at stuff has never been a problem for Labour, you and I have both lived in Bradford all our lives and 90% of that time the council would have been controlled by Labour.
Ironically we were at a 60s event over the week end at the Midland Hotel which now thanks to John Pennington taking it on before it was demolished is a beautiful hotel even though it's owned by the Britannia Group, there were 60 fans from all around the country and with them knowing we were Bradford born and breed asked us what the city centre was like, I told them to go out and get back with their take, I was surprised many were as complementary as they were a group from Liverpool loving it especially the Town Hall and the renewed area around it City Park the Alhambra and the old Gaumont Cinema, and loved the old architecture of many of the older buildings we still have in the city centre.
