Joe Adams has been sent to see a second specialist about his injury. Doesn't sound the best! Sarce out for a little while too as well as Walkers knocks, i really wouldn't be surprised to see a CM join, even on a short term contract until Jan.

 

This one with Joe Adams really is a shame, looked like the type of player that really could have contributed, wish him a speedy recovery ...

 

Is Adam's on loan?.If he is,and the injury is serious,then Wigan will probably want him back to oversee his treatment,as Brentford did with Oyagoke last season.

Kelly is out until Xmas and no idea on Johnson. With Byrne and Baldwin out for a few weeks I woulsnt be surprised to see a CB.

Jamal Baptiste available. 20 years old, released by Man City. Offer him a trial as without a club. If he out of our reach look at Ashley Eastham or Ryan Bennett as cover until January. About as good as we will get but its a body.

They aren't the only ones at it. Notts County have signed cover for Jodi Jones today, as he is likely to be out for a while.

 

I saw his name mentioned in the bbc report about trial games for out of contract players, and I thought to myself he can probably still do a job for a lower league club. Decent signing if he stays fit. “Only” 32 so hardly over the hill.
