Unfair on Wright to say he’s sulking. He’s not a left back, and looked uncomfortable in that position - and his yellow card made him even more uncomfortable. Not his fault that Richards got injured.

I’m probably in the minority here but as far as 0-0’s go I enjoyed the game.

I especially enjoyed watching Shepherd and Diabate who were both fantastic today I thought.

    I agree.
As much a penalty as last week's though and that was given.
The pull on Oliver is definitely a penalty.
All you could see was his claret under shirt.
His striped shirt with JCT 600 written across the front, was round his neck.
But as someone has pointed out, they were allowed to get away with it for most of the second half then they threw their toys out of the pram when Richie gave them a bit back.
I wanted our players to smash them into row z all game but we were far too weak.
    Bobby and Tyreik in particular.
Bobby should have gone for Kav but somehow managed to play a full 90.
GA might see it as learning for him.

I thought the link up play between Wright and Richards was the better of the two with regards our attacking down the flanks, but once Richards was not coming out for the second half Tyriek looked anything but a competent right back, its easy to say what we could have done but after the first 10 minutes or so of the second half would it have been to the teams detriment to bring Benn on at left back.
If as someone posted its Richards hamstring then we have a problem as the only way we can get away with playing Wright is as a wing back and IMO that hasn't shown the team at their best, we looked a more balanced side second half at Walsall and although it was hardly a first string side Mansfield put out again we looked more balanced and again today first half we looked the better side.

Agreed, that was unfortunate, but he did his best. Definitely weakened us, I'm assuming it was forced.

On another note, there are some real scroats around the ground on match days….. people smoking cannabis outside the ground with kids walking past.

One lad no older than 13 even drinking a can of beer on the street with some guys who should be old enough to know better.

Also some very choice language being spoken freely in front of primary school aged children, just general conversations of people who can’t string a sentence together without putting the F word in every 5 seconds.

I guess this is the society we live in these days.

On the other hand I should of course say that most other people were happy and smiling and enjoying their afternoons, which with everything going on in the world is nice to see.

Looking back on the game it was never a classic but as you say there were positives to come from the game, the two central defenders played well together, Diabate is no Reece Burke but on his performances so far the kid will play above league two level, Richards and Tyriek did well down the left but we failed with regards supplying our strikers with any sort of clear cut chances.
I'm certainly not writing us off were 8th after 7 games and not played with any sort of consistency as we saw the second today and the first half at Walsall.

Chalk and cheese compared to the superb ref against Mansfield , so no, watching dross officiating week in week out isn’t acceptable to me , clearly it is to some and should be accepted as “ normal” .A ref who frustrated both sets of fans in equal measure tells us an awful lot.
They are robbing a living calling themselves “ professionals” and doing the decent supporter an injustice. If that’s acceptable to some then standards will NEVER improve..

Well that is another two points at home lost. I get the fact we had several defenders injured, plus Jamie Walker, Sarcaveic and additionally Tyler Smith having just become a father. I also get Richards and Adam’s injuries during the game. However if we are going to gain promotion, then we need to win these games irrespective of the situation, simple as.

It seems to be the thing in the modern game players can fill in on several positions, the thing being can they do it to an acceptable level, if today is anything to go by with Richards out with a hamstring Alexander has a problem if he wants to continue with 4 at the back which I personally hope he does.

PS : Just listened to Alexander post match interview West Yorkshire Sport Daily - Bradford City 0-0 AFC Wimbledon: Graham Alexander - BBC Sounds and he says Richards took a knock no mention of his hamstring, fingers crossed Jamie could be back for next game.

Didn’t catch the game. Who was our MOM? How did Pointon play? Any further promising signs between Cook and Sanderson?

Diabate was given the sponsors man of the match, but it could have been him or Shepherd as both were excellent. No voting on the club social media tonight that I’ve seen for some reason.

The poor lad looks demoralised to me. He's been asked to play as a wingback at two clubs and he can't do it. That's as clear as day. Then today he's played as a winger and that lasts half a game and he's then asked to be a left back. You can understand if he's a bit disillusioned.

Agree Dubois, he failed at Plymouth and as a result wasn't even selected.
We can all see that he's not a wing back, only an out and out left winger.
Why the hell Alexander can't see that baffles me.
The lad is nothing like the player we had on loan from Villa. We need better.
