You are tossing your toys out of the pram after 6 games. That’s not sensible behaviour.
But for the record, I watched every pre season game and made comments on here that I’d not seen any improvement from last season and was quickly knocked down saying preseason didn’t matter.
I’m not however gonna throw the towel in just yet

I’m not gonna go trawling back 14 pages to find your posts, I’m not that obsessed with what you have to say. I was responding to your comments that until Rupp is gone we can’t progress which is absolute bollox.

 

You act like it.

 

Also, I’d bet that the vast majority of football fans over the world probably think they’d progress further with different owners.
I’ll use Blackpool as an example. They protested against Oyston and finally got him out in 2019. Today they sit 19th in league1. Where’s the progress?

I was really hoping one of them was gonna connect with the tw@t. There’s banter, pantomime villainy, and good old fashioned shithousery, but that keeper was really going to places where pro’s don’t often go. Our fans weren’t giving him any more shit than the usual he’d get from the opposition

 

They went up to the championship. But they’re considered a small club in the 21st century really so it’s never going to last forever. Like with a Luton for instance who’ll probably be back in league 1 within a few years.

 

I think it’s further confirmation that despite what happens on the pitch, off the pitch we really are the top dogs in the league that everyone wants to shoot down.
When opposition players would rather spend minutes baiting the away fans instead of celebrating with their own fans after a win it tells you all you need to know.
We simply have to get out of this league where we won’t be top dogs anymore.

 

Read the sentence you wrote - "Are we seriously writing the season off after 6 games. Please get a grip."

Read the sentence you quoted to justify your statement - “Until an offer comes in and he accepts we’ll never progress.”

No mention of the season, directly or indirectly. It's clearly talking generally of Rupp's tenure at the club where we clearly have regressed rather than progressed.

 

But your initial reply was about writing the season off.....

 

Apparently it doesn’t matter much though, one club isn’t flying high in the PL so they can’t matter much. Man City would easily have won all the titles they did if they had their previous owners, just needed to hire a million managers and they’d have got there.

 

I’m just not convinced that Rupp is the main culprit for our lack of progress.
He provides the budget and by all accounts it’s comparable to other teams who’ve won promotion so I’d 100% suggest the issues are with how we are spending that budget.

 

He only had to go back to page 15 to see my comment, but as it contradicts his thoughts he’s conveniently not seen it.

 

So who’s the common denominator over 6 years of regression? Colin Doyle? He’s about the only person who was here in 2018 who’s still here now. Maybe it was Trueman, people like blaming an irrelevant coach.

 

Look there’s no escaping the fact that we are in a worse position now than 6 years ago but losing in the playoff final was a bitter blow which triggered players leaving and a massive hangover the following season. It’s happens regularly at other clubs and could equally have still happened with Lawn/rhodes in charge with PP as manager.

 

The blame is with Rupp who continues to back a failing CEO. Just look at some of the deals we've been hamstrung by which continue to have an effect on recruitment. Sharpes interview could be interpreted as an interview for the main gig. He spoke like a CEO in waiting. Until Rupp removes Sparks he has to accept responsibility.

 

It was officially announced on Tuesday 24 May 2016 that Bradford have confirmed German investors Edin Rahic and Stefan Rupp have completed their takeover of the Sky Bet League 1 club, so its more than 8 years guys, but it seems a life time .

 

Ok fair enough but from a legal point of view if Sparks is meeting all his KPI’s then there are no grounds for dismissal and he ain’t simply gonna walk away from a 6 figure salary is he.
