He was voted MOM on Twitter. That I do know because I voted for him. I always assumed that the official MOM was the one announced over the tannoy before the end of the game. Does anyone know for sure?

 

These last couple of weeks or so I'd agree that he had probably got to the point of wanting out. Prior to that, I genuinely don't belive that to be the case at all.

 

The one announced over the tannoy is the sponsor's MOTM, ie. the player they most want to meet after the game.

 

His performance at Colchester was appauling, it literally was going through disinterested motions. On the other side of the coin he started off his City career well, was it Hartlepool and scored ?

I don’t wish him ill , but boy does he have to get his head in gear.

Lastly the blame game going on blaming people like Head of Football or GA who had to deal with the resulting shit show, who weren’t even here at the time of Youngs early days, is just sheep following sheep. Sad and pathetic really.

 

Sponsors is there choice, official is what goes in the record book and that was Smallwood, announced by the club.

Not sure why we are comparing Oliver and Young all of a sudden , neither have done anything for the club on the footballing front if we were honest. One has gone the other will receive the rest of deal. A contract is a contract whether we like it or not.
Stevenage have done the club a favour in paying part of both players wages indirectly.

 

Kavanagh was the 2nd coming this summer....reality is he has been shite so far but he is only a kid. So is Sanderson. Oliver and Smith, to a lesser degree, are both shite.

I share your concerns at CB....at least we have Shepherd and Diabate as options I guess. And Johnson, who will be like a new signing in January.

Exactly my thoughts Pet…. That is why I lay the blame at the senior management door. We are doing exactly what City have always done cash in on a good player. We are supposed to be going for promotion! We shall have to see if we drop lucky, and it is going to be luck that carries us.

 

Shipley Bantams have picked some absolute howlers over the years. Dont know what game they were watching but as you say, its just getting that picture.

 

TBH if GA doesnt want a player it doesnt happen. If he wants a player it happens unless Sparks cant sign the cheque then it doesnt happen.

Sharpe is just a front, a puppet paid a nice salary and something to appease fans. He does the contract side. Also a nice scapegoat for the gaffer, owner and CEO.

Gent is just a scout with a list of players. He has no sway at all.

There is no doubt in my mind that much maligned captain of ours Richie Smallwood was mom by a country mile. He controlled and directed that midfield to perfection. Wright had much less to do but was excellent.

 

It's almost as if no-one had predicted it.
