Promotion for Gilly disappointed he has gone because he is a very useful player. I think he will do well there

 

Shrewsbury only just signed Biggins so they obviously weren't impressed and wanted a very quick replacement!

 

Reading their managers comments, I doubt Gilliead will be a starter but adds to the squad

 

Looking at that Shrewsbury squad, it's not exactly L1 standard. There are better squads in L2 for sure than what Shrews have assembled. Add Hurst to that who struggled at Grimsby, I'd be surprised if they stay up.

I think they look set to be this season's Carlisle and will finish rock bottom so will be hard to bring in players that are good league 1 players and it sets them up for next season in league 2.

 

Losing Kev Mc and Gilly at the same time and bringing in no other DM back up seems odd? I know he said he thinks Adams and Pattison can play there but seems like another square peg round hole scenario that never goes well.

 

Balancing the books is going well.
