Oliver has only played once and was doing OK agains Grimsby till his concussion he will be on the bench most weeks

 

He was still missing last week with concussion but he should be past that now unless it is something serious, normal range is from 9-14 days.

 

Ibbitson is playing with the u19s this season along with Wadsworth, i wouldn't be surprised if he goes out on loan to the NPL or National League North in the next couple of months

 

Only seen Ibbitson once and he looked nowhere near. I think he's only a very young lad, bit like McBurnie, needs a couple of years based on that performance. Of course he's got that time, too.

 

I just don't trust Jake Young to produce the effort required to get in to the starting eleven and if he stays which is looking likely we may in truth only see him on the bench in one of our BSM cup games.

 

If he is still here it’s up to him to force Alexander’s hand as Pointon did

 

Club should turn their attention to finding Smith a loan move. Oliver aint going unless we pay him off and Young aint going unless the asking price is met and he wants the move.

 

Agree and was only referencing Young been behind the others purely based on squad selection so far. Absolutely agree on if Cook were to get injured, for me this has been an issue for a long time. Challenge been game time for anyone as Cook’s back up has been limited to date

 

Frightening though, Tyler looked O/K in the cup games but it doesn't look like he's in Alexanders immediate plans, and the kid Ibbitson has a long way to go still 18 and I cant see if we continue the way we are he would risk putting the kid on the bench.

 

Barrow sign Chris Popov, I've heard he's meant to be a bit good, but never seen him.

 

Didn't we play a very mobile front two in a few games without Cook last season? Thought we did well. We will play okay without him as he isn't a target man.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if we paid Oliver off today as well
