The side stand seats are situated in the family stand section and overlook the corner flag.
    £2 more per adult.

Why are they forcing people to buy tickets in the corner blocks before releasing the rest?
All that they’ll achieve selling them this way is people will wait until the better seats go on sale.
Currently it’s not possible to buy a ticket behind the goal until the small side stand seats are all sold.

That will be how Walsall will want them sold. It's common for clubs to tell away clubs to sell a block at a time.

I understand that but we have a priority points system in place which means those buying first end up with seats they don’t want and the consequence of that is they won’t sit in allocated seats on the day which causes conflict.
The only solution to that is to announce unreserved seating for away games.

It will always have been like this, the difference now is that we can see the seats. We have no control over if the seating is reserved or not, the home club only can decide that. Very few clubs will do that as it means you've got to drop capacity by 10% for health and safety reasons to account for the inevitable odd seats left empty between groups of people and with people mostly standing up these days it's a risk of overcrowding in certain areas.

Well even when seats are allocated, rarely do people sit in the corners and in cases like Walsall which will probably sell out you end up with people stood in the gangways in the blocks behind the goal.
And guess what, the stewards do feck all about it.
I’ve given up expecting to sit down at away games and so I’ve also given up in sitting in my allocated seat. I just sit where I want and if stewards try to get me to sit in allocated seat I’ll ask them to get everyone to sit down first. I think I’ll win

If Walsall want them sold that way the so what. It's their ground and they set the rules.

If you don't like it, buy later or don't buy at all, but if you do buy, respect others who have bought and sit in your seat not someone else's.

Walsall have no need to pamper to precious folk who want to choose a seat.

Well when people respect my right to SIT DOWN in my seat and be able to see the game then I’ll consider sitting in the seat printed on the ticket.

Pure arrogance. Would you go to a concert at Leeds Arena and expect to be able to sit in someone else's seat. Grow up you petulant child.

No, that’s completely different. I’d expect to be able to choose my seat at a concert and not be shoehorned into the worst seats just because they have a selling order.
I’ll say again, if they don’t want people to sit in other peoples seats then make it unreserved.

And what about those who persistently stand up forcing everyone else to stand up behind them just because they believe it’s their right. Petulance

Did you go to Grimsby? I'd love to know how people got on telling everyone to get out of their view :joy:

1200 fans packed in like sardines, with only a select few sat down at the front. Walkways blocked, stairs blocked, even the stewards gave up asking people because they knew there was no alternative areas to move everyone

Haha i was wondering when someone would mention it. I must admit i enjoyed being stood up all game due to it being the tightest seats i've ever sat in but i was sat on the last row of the first tier of seats. Behind us the walkway was rammed solid as were the stairways, if there had been a medical emergency could have been difficult to get help through.
