Parkers info saying that Fleetwood are the only team that have bid lasted a few hours..... or was incorrect?

 

Lets hope the Championship rumour is real. More Trey Riel (moneyfish) in, less chance of it coming back to bite on our bait and end up in our (fishing) net when we play them.

So much for the “ demand” . I really do wonder, despite the couple or so clubs mentioned by GA if all this interest is a huge bunch of make believe ? If it carries on like this he’s going to end up in the wilderness?

Doesn't look to be, T&A saying that Young is down at Apperley Bridge this morning with the rest of the squad. I mean, saying someone at training is very easy to prove or disprove, there's likely to be a handful of fans down there.

 

T&A are saying it's just Fleetwood.... Sky Sports are saying that Stevenage, Fleetwood, Crawley and a Championship club are in for him.... we'll know by Friday i suppose?

 

I'll be amazed if there is any Championship interest.

 

It's Press day today down at the school we might get some answers later this afternoon.

I was thinking that. Unless its maybe an Oxford type? Who might well go down anyway, but if he has a few good months under his belt then can hit L1 running next season? Other than that, I really doubt there's actual Champ interest. Might be an agent ploy? Drumming up the media around him?

 

Training down at the school apparently.... unless he's told them he's not interested? GA was fairly certain he wasn't ready to be around the squad this time last week but is apparently training with the squad today.

 

I've totally had it up to here with the whole Young debacle if i'm honest with you. The uncertainty regarding him "will he, won't he" ever since he came back from Swindon (in fact while he was there too) is tiring. The club need to just make a frigging decision and sort it instead of all this speculation

We cannot be blamed for thinking the club hierarchy have engineered this whole fiasco so that the transfer happens just prior to the window shutting, without signing anyone else of significance, and that money - the transfer fee and the weekly wage - gets forgotten about until January

They really do take us fans for complete mugs

 

Jake Young ending up at Fleetwood after all this would be just bizarre and so underwhelming for both us and him. I mean it would have to be a case of anywhere but City for him to go there, why not just stay here and break into our team, see where you're at in January? If he's here next week he'll be back on our bench at the very least. You can't tell me they're better equipped than our team to get the goals out of him.
From our point of view, losing our player to Fleetwood would just annoy fans, if he starts banging them in for them then it's just more egg on the face of the higher ups at this club.
If it's staying or going to Fleetwood, just give us til January Jake

 

Looks like Young has said no to Fleetwood. Either he is hoping for a last minute bid from someone better or he wants to stay and fight for a place.
