Personally I don’t believe data is as accurate as anyone makes out. Take simple possession stats….as accurate and as much use as a yacht without wind.
They can’t even get the basics consistently accurate, so beyond that it’s irrelevant and meaning little to me.

Someone who says X has been playing well through real world observation is twice as accurate as the “ stats” suggest a player has been performing.

Someone said Dan kemp had started the season well, and yet you provided a set of stats that you claimed proved his statement incorrect.

Yet You have now posted saying most footy stats are guff and that observations are generally twice as accurate as stats.

You've finally done it, after arguing with every other poster on the forum you now arguing with yourself.

Just a really quick update from down here - Timi has started the season well (although missed Monday game v Hartlepool with a slight knock) and does seem popular with Woking fans.

Young still hasn't agreed a deal with Fleetwood after the bid was accepted on Friday. After the T&As piece on Friday said that Fleetwood joined the race, hinting that more than 1 club were in talks, they are now saying it's only Fleetwood who have bid.

 

It all seems a bit fishy to me.

I can see him doing exactly what Harry Lewis did last January. There’ll be an offer from someone like Shrewsbury or Leyton Orient and he’ll take it because it’s league one, only to find himself back down here next season. I think he needs to move in this summer window, as others have said, the “will he won’t he” saga will only drag on for another 6 months.

 

Thankfully the January window opens in 18 weeks, we can do it all again if he decides to stay this week
