Very apt that his family have their fishfingers in many businesses and are one of the UK's biggest providers of Scampi.

His behaviour at City has been very Oarfish, personally I'd like to see us get rid and replace him with John Dory, who is a bit of a Snapper in front of goal, and a Dab hand at hitting the back of the fishing net.

I'm sure if he leaves we can Findus a better prospect, even if we have to trawl about for him.

Hope not Jordan. Need an experienced head, not yet another kid from an U21 set up.

I hope this comes to an end soon. Been going on a bit too long, especially considering the fact that we haven't played him because of the transfer interest. Sell him for as much as we can get, then bring in one or two quality players who can make a difference from the off....not in a few games time. Over to you Mr Rupp. Remember, the destiny of this season lays in your hands (and wallet). If you don't take action, then remember the phrase (to keep in line with the recent posts) "The fish rots from the head".

Do we save the money for January, or do we think there’s enough in this squad to be in and around the top 3?

I think January's window is normally a waste of time. A few scraps from teams higher up sending their fringe or youngster out on loan, which is what we don't want. As usual, City have done their "thing" and left things to the last minute...despite the mantra we've heard from the past two seasons that we want to get all our business done early doors. We'll sell Young at the final minute, leaving us money in the bank which mysteriously disappears and short of players in positions we really need. Shambles again. Copy Paste Repeat.

True, it's hard trying to find many that are still available at this point. Looking at L1 defenders that haven't gotten any/many minutes yet over the age of 25, there's Critchlow and that's about it who look destined for the exit door. The rest are lads who are injured or just signed and haven't broken in yet. Northampton have a few CBs on the fringes who aren't getting minutes in Akin Odimayo and Tyler Magloire, with Magloire coming back this summer after 18 months out, he is a Bradford lad though.

Similar story in CH & L2, the lads not getting minutes are young or experienced lads who are out injured or coming back from injury. It's slim pickings for out of favour experienced defenders, so if we want one we'll be paying. Loaning younger from above is more likely at this stage I reckon.

Replying to myself....but would be interesting if any stattos out there can list the players we've signed in the January window, over say the last four seasons. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone who stands out.
