    Probably the same reason you can get a breakfast with a beer at Spoons at 9.00 am but not at 8.59 am. Elf & safety gone mad.

    You’ve obviously never travelled with the Corn Dolly mob. Some of them have several before getting on the early morning coach for a long away trip.

    Au contraire, I’ve been with them several times (where I’ve met bronco and others). I just chose to get there when the coach was setting off lol

    Brighton away circa 1995. Set off from the Dolly at midnight and was in a pub in Brighton by 9am.

    Absolutely not. Call me boring but I really couldn’t think of anything more stomach churning than that. Joking apart, if you’re having a drink at 6am when you’ve only been awake for an hour or so, you may have an issue

    There's nothing better than gagging on an £8.50 flat pint of Morretti to wash down the cold, tasteless £15 breakfast at half 5 in the morning while pretending you're absolutely loving the "start of your holiday".

    Yeah I know, I am such a stiff! And if I did partake in that madness, i'd be sure to be unique and post it on all 4 of my social media accounts for good measure, just to be sure everyone knows how crazy I am :p

    Plenty do sadly. I walk past Leeds Station Wetherspoons regularly on my walk into the office and there’s often people in there having a pint at 7.30am. Sad.

    Time is an illusion. If I want a drink at 6am, and the circumstances are right, I'll have one. Once arrived in Edinburgh at 10am absolutely battered from the train journey and had a great day that ended in a lap dancing bar in the pubic triangle at 2am the following morning.

    Life's too short to worry about Grumpy old sods who think you can't drink until 5pm
