Thank feck we didn't sign Charlie!

 

I thought Pattison was fine. He absolutely works his socks off. Did huge amounts of chasing and harrying, forcing defenders into mistakes and rushed clearances.

Sarcevic, by contrast, wasn’t at the races. I have yet to understand what he’s supposed to bring to the team. I’d much rather have Walker on there making things happen. For me, Sarcevic was easily our most ineffective player (with the possible exception of Kavanagh) yet he stayed on for the whole game. Baffling.

 

What has happened to Kav? Last season he looked full of promise this season he looks like he does not know what he is supposed to do. He always seems to far back? Over coaching?

 

One of the subs scored a goal and the ref was giving cheap free kicks all game.

You can't even bring yourself to be happy we won and are second in the table on an unbeaten league run that is only bettered by Man City.

didn't get a chance to watch today but having read the commentary it seems we played well and created a lot of chances which is a good sign....just need to be a bit more clinical...that said 7 from 9 is a brilliant start compared to most seasons in recent memory..let's keep the momentum going.

 

I heard it very clearly from block A in Midland Road. Unbelievable.

 

Great to see Cooky on the score sheet after being robbed last week.

 

Between him and Baldwin for me. Smallwood was mostly excellent but he got involved needlessly to pick up his yellow card and he almost cost us a goal towards the end. He messed about with the ball in our area instead of clearing it.
As you say though, one of his best performances for us.
Liked Baldwin, good passing and crossing.

Is Pattison fully fit yet after his op last season, I thought bringing the two subs on in the 60th minute when Bromley were still trying to get back in the game was a good call and ultimately paid off with Bobby's goal which was a cracker even though Smith got a finger to it.

 

He’s being played behind Cook instead of alongside him. He’s very clearly not a no 10. Baffling.

 

Pattison looked fit enough to me today. Did masses of hard running.

Smallwood my MOTM. Despite the stick he gets Kav was a proper pain in the arse for Bromley. He nevers gives up and chases every lost cause. He chased one down today that looked dead and buried but he managed to win a corner from it. He does look like he's maybe trying too hard. Maybe as a result of the extra competition.

 

Hard to properly sum up.the game when there down to 10 men so early but hey how many times have we managed to fook these sort of games up ??????
Still of a lot to work on but knce everyone is up to speed then you simply never know.

Sooner we are out of this khazi league the better i actually thought Bromley wod bring a few more up than they actually did ..........not into thousands like but i thought it would be 500+

 

To be fair he can be a menace, the type of player that can ruffle a defence

I thought at times they looked national league level but then other times they looked far more fluent than us, especially through the middle.
