Oh I don't disagree, it's just with Johnson looking like a forever 'two weeks away' kind of signing, we look particularly vulnerable at that side should we suffer any injuries/suspensions. I think we need 2 more in at the back now Stubbs has gone.

Different world. This is football. Normal employment laws don't apply because the PFA don't let them.

Managers scream at players all the time, look at the Vincent Kompany at Burnley last season, and Warnock in any dressing room clip you care to pull up on You Tube. If normal employment law was applied to that there would be hundreds of bullying claims a season and massive turnover of managers (and players).

Warnock wouldn't have lasted 24 hours applying that rule. It's a two way street, in the heat of the moment players abuse managers and managers abuse players. It's how football rocks, and in most cases they just get on with it. I'm damn sure a successful manager like Warnock would never have shipped out over a training ground spat.

Hughes let his own massive ego override a normal training situation and we unsettled a good prospect in the course of it.

 

What he's alleged to have done is tell his manager he didn't know what he was doing. Disrespectful and stupid yes, but hardly the crime of the century. Fully deserving of disciplinary action but being told he no longer had a future at the club and being ostracised was way over the top imo. The niaviety of youth makes you say and do stupid and inappropriate things at times because you think you are invinceable and know better than anyone else, it's just a shame Hughes felt he had to go to the lengths he did to satisfy his fragile ego.

What is the counter point you're trying to make to @Dratsab taf here? Seems like you're arguing for the sake of it. @Dratsab taf has made some good points and your posts are coming across as a bit flippant tbh.

Flippant on what way? Debate isn’t being flippant.
My point is Young wouldn’t score 25 goals in a season for us. How much more can I say and in what way would you like me to say it? I’m discussing with one about his post and yet here we are?
