Perhaps that indicates that what GA meant about players leaving first was to do with squad limits not FFP ?

Smith will get 10ish if he plays around the same minutes he did last season, though i hope he doesn't unless he merits it.
Kav in last seasons form i would've said he'll get you 10 but we'll see if he can get past this opening tough spell he's had.
Cook needs to be hitting 20+
Then its the midfielders; Sarc, Bobby, Pattison could all get 10 each if used and rotated correctly.
Wingbacks want to be looking at 5 each, maybe the odd screamer from Baldwin and a few from corners.
If most of that happens we'll be promoted

 

I don't see how Smith gets 5 more league goals than he got last season from 38 appearances.

 

Sanderson and Kavanagh are only 20 and wont need registering.

 

And allowing for good goals not given

 

With the potential sale of Young and the little windfall from the Wolves kid moving to Liverpool it would be great to see us go splash a few hundred thousand on a really good centre back and a proven goalscorer.

Obviously I am living in a dreamland because its not a bantams thing but still, it would certainly mask the false promises from Rupp and allow us to look past some of the shite we have signed this summer.

 

No chance we will get 30 goals from Sarcevic, Pointon and Pattison unfortunately

Oh its certainly a big "If" but with the amount of chances he gets its not impossible. 10 goals this season would of course mean he's gotten more clinical. Be interested to see how many "big chances" and 1on1s he got, seemed to miss a sitter every game

Yes, that's a good point. It looks like we've decided who we want and managed to get them. The acid test is if they prove good enough and I guess we'll find out over the coming weeks!

 

Sam Stubbs joins Cheltenham Town on loan for the remainder of the 24/25 season.
The 25-year-old, who has 55 apps for City, yet to feature this season but was handed No.4 shirt.
Out of contract with the club at the end of this season.

 

Good signing for them. I wish we had a commanding centre half like him. It's what we're missing at present.

 

Please tell me we can recall him if we need to, even if just to damage a potential rival. I can't remember loans like these ever not biting us on the arse, they'll probably turn him into a holding midfielder who runs the show and bags a few himself !
