I think it's pretty much nailed on that it's Joe Adams from Wigan. Plays in a position we don't need to bring anyone in for, scored during pre season, and has had a slight niggle that past couple of weeks keeping him out of the matchday squad. Everything fits what GA has said about the player in question, I'd be amazed now if it isn't him. Why we are bringing him in though when we are already stacked in midfield and have really good players of our own in Pointon and Walker that can't get in the starting 11 is anyone's guess.

You’re wasting your energy on him. He is a young un. They can’t always handle that kind of constant excitement, but hey let’s keep insulting him that will help his confidence not!! If he doesn’t go to wherever GA will have a massive job picking him off the floor and getting him ready to play as he must in order that he can get a contract elsewhere.

I am not interested in tittle tattle that then becomes fact. He had a ding dong with Hughes, naughty boy. Take two weeks of your wages, train with the young ones and while you are there think about how you might apologise to the manager. I think what Hughes did was well over the top tbh. Ultimately losing us a very good player.

 

He was injured when he came back or at least playing while carrying an injury. No one was going to sign him. (I know, the irony of us signing Johnson...)

Yeah I think it’s also him and I don’t get what we need another 10 for but he was out on loan at Morecambe from January so be interesting to know where he played for them, the Wigan fan said he’s comfortable across all midfield

 

With Brad not currently firing on all cylinders, Johnson made of paper and Gilly seemingly on his way out, I'm glad we're bringing in another attacking midfielder on Friday.
