Yep I don't blame teams for doing it at all. Slow the game get the home fans wound up, its a script i feel like i've watched a million times at city. Like I said somewhere else its the little team talks when the keeper goes down where i feel the refs can clamp down.

I'd put him in for Byrne. At least Kelly will defend properly, Byrne is always trying to dive in and nick it which he never does and then completely takes himself out of the game as he's not got enough pace to get back goal side.

 

Referees still make mistakes no matter what. Goal line technology is paramount and doesnt matter if its needed once a season or 10 times a season. A goal should be a goal.

 

There were at least four high balls launched up the middle at Cook in the first half alone, mostly from Walker. I remember saying to those around me just before half time that Cook hadn’t yet won a header and that their CB had him in his pocket.

 

TBF, that is actually true.

What irritated me about the goal is the linesman were eagle eyed supporting their playing us offside tactics but were shortsighted on the goal

 

TBF, there’s a bit of a difference between spotting a player in open play who’s a yard offside and spotting a ball that’s six inches over the line through a crowded penalty box.

 

I would agree if it was six inches but it was about a foot and everybody else in that part of the ground saw it including those sitting behind him in the midland road stand

They didn't play Cole Stockton, and the really tall lad they did play up front was particularly awful to be fair.

But many of them were either starters or subs from what I've seen!

I'd be a bit worried as a Salford fan I reckon. 0 goals in 4 games... yikes!
