I went in 2010/11ish? We played them in the cup and Flynn scored. But the stand we were in back then behind the goal was really snug, but I thought that big east stand must be better.... sat there at the weekend, just as knee crippling as the other one I've tried.

My mates who I went with are Leeds fans and they hate it but just accept its not changing either. Needs a huge revamp that place. The outside, the stands, the concourse, all need some work.

Every stand at VP is newer than the ones at Elland Road and ours are old. The east stand was 90-91 from memory, we went in a field trip from college as they were finishing it.

A bit of a random one, who the hell ever calls it the North stand? Been going forty odd years and never called it that

So they are now going to stop every junior that goes in and check when they bought their ticket and then those that bought them after Saturday, which won't be many, if they have a responsable adult, not just an adult but a responsable one, with them. Or will this be done on trust.

I'm more thinking of cup matches if we got to rd3 in the FA cup or maybe play off matches.

Just seen this quote in the widthofthepost article

A Bradford City club spokesperson explained to WOAP, “The ‘atmosphere section’ was moved from the upper tier of the North West Corner following communication the club had from the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA). We were informed last season that this ‘atmosphere section’ must be moved to an area in the lower tier of the stadium, as persistent standing in the upper tier of the stadium would not be permitted. We were advised that, should this not happen, capacity restrictions would be introduced at the University of Bradford Stadium.

So that would rule out a return to K block

I can't believe that concerns the Symphony though. In any event they've been in there before.

Let's be real: the atmosphere section offers very little atmosphere. When was the last time an away club didn't mock the lack of volume at VP? Salford did. Everyone does. It's not loud, and we cannot make it be loud unless the fans are into the games/players.

Under Parky every player had a chant, even the back four.

Don't think I mentioned the TL Dallas. I said it ruled out a return to K block, at the rear of the Kop, that a number of people kept suggesting

That stand also has an upper tier.

I was musing to myself that it might not have been all that literal. Then again, maybe it was.

I only get to VP a few times a season these days. One thing that is very noticeable is how many people are glued to their phones throughout the match, wherever I sit in the Main Stand. Hard to get too invested in the game when you are watching the 3.20 from Wetherby and managing cashing out on football bets.

That is how bad the football has been for years , some are only still going out of a sense of duty ,and six seasons in league 2 has taken its toll .

Hulme. Most are cashing out away team wins at our place.

One thing I noticed from my seat in Midland Road, is that a lot of the seats in the upper tier of the NW corner have been obliterated by the previous occupants

I really feel sorry for those fans that were already in B Block before herr Sparks let this happen, particularly those that have been in the same seats for years and built up good rapport and relationships with those fans around them. It will definitely kick off again on Saturday, particularly when the frustration of Bromley running riot due to our poor football takes a hold

I know which fan I'd prefer sitting near me at Valley Parade I can assure you it would be someone checking his/her phone rather than standing up in front of me when they know quite well they shouldn't be doing it then when asked to sit down you receive a load of abuse as I did a few seasons ago at Blackpool, where we were sat 3 rows back from the concourse and the stewards did nothing about it when I approached then to ask if we could move behind the goals (where they had accommodated a young family minutes before) I was told its reserved seating you cant move, now that was an unpleasant atmosphere until Kyel Reid scored the winner.

I have to be honest I didn't notice anything happening in the lower Kop I suppose you had to be amongst it to see what went on, but this situation has to take the biscuit with regards screw ups from our club, I'm with you fans who have been in those seats for years striking up a friendship with others sat around them should not have had to move our be in a situation like last Saturday, still plenty of home games to play they have my sympathy.
