I see in both today's Yorkshire Post and T&A GA refers to City fans as carrying round "a bag of bitterness" and it's time to put the bag down. He's clearly been on this site and read the endless bile from certain keyboard warriers who I believe are the target of his comments. Even after last week's win at MK the usual moaners were out and about peddling negativity. A win is a win and I said then how many times have we been mugged over the years. Last week we were the muggers, take it for what it was.
On Tuesday we were the better team, as I think we should proove to Grimsby in two weeks. The next three games, on paper at least should give us max points and if not lay off the bitterness, as GA suggests, leave the bag at home.

Totally agree with that sentiment. I've got a lot of time for Alexander and do think given time he'll take us up. There's people at this club I'd get rid of but I'm glad he's here. He deserves a clean slate from us fans and especially at home, I hope we're a bit more positive as a crowd.

People weren't moaning, just offering a difference of opinion. That's how forums work, people debate what they witnessed.

Maybe just Maybe he should look closer to home as to why the "bags of bitterness" exist
Empty promises, Year on year failure, Not accepting mediocrity in the khazi league, Cash spent and long contracts to over the hill poor quality players, countless failed managers etc etc it's a pretty long list to be fair
GA needs to prove himself this season or he too will become part of the managerial merry go round
It's fine to publish such comments after such a short time in charge but he needs to remember he has the best supporter base outside the championship behind him and act on the fact that we have gone from the verge of the championship to 6 years in the khazi league in a relatively short space of time
Time to see what he's made of and give us something to cheer and do his talking on the pitch fans have every right to be bitter he is paid to put that right

None of which is GA's fault. He isn't responsible for whats happened in the past or the fact Sparks and Rupp are still here. He's asking for the backing of the fans which is more than reasonable. If a couple of home draws turned to wins the last two seasons we'd have been promoted or at least playoffs so he's right, back the players even when they're not winning. Getting on their backs plays right into the opponents hands. You just listed all the reasons why bradford is a difficult job for a manager so give him some patience and backing

I totally understand this post. What GA said is that the players we have now are not responsible for the “home form” previously and ask fans to put it behind them and give the team our full support at home. I think we will, because we always do. It turned sour last year because we could see what a mess the City Board had made of our club for more seasons that I can count. Give us some fantastic matches to watch that is all we ask.

Not apportioning any blame to GA, although I do question his starting 11 for the Grimsby match denying us a revenue stream with the lack of progression in the cup but it's fine we will beat them in the League is supposed to appease that
A quick glance at the history books should have told him the fans aren't to blame either and inevitably some (not all) feel a lack of empathy for his superiors which should have been taken into consideration before commenting
Like yourself i have no idea how the season will progress I do hope it ends in promotion with GA as manager but he has work to do that's for sure and we all know VP can turn toxic very quickly
I said it's time and it would be better for him to do his talking on the pitch and i stand by that

I think that is a dangerous stance. For the avoidance of doubt, l truly hope you are correct and that we win all the matches in an exciting, entertaining and emphatic manner.

However if the team fails to achieve the target you identified, then that could be more problematic, and those who wield their keyboards…..will just do that.

Personally l am concerned that the defence, has not obviously been strengthened, and that Johnson, Baldwin and Byrne have a lot to prove. Hopefully their performances will allay any concerns.

Its certainly brave. Say something like that then serve up a turgid performance and lose to Salford tomorrow he'll have made himself look silly

But he IS responsible for making RS captain and allowing him to waste every dead ball situation we get.
He's not totally culpable but he doesn't help himself at times.

They definitely were moaning and it's constant on here, everything that's comes out of the club is either fake news or gets moaned about! Absolute everything!

Maybe you are party to details of Mr Rupps promised investment (just before season tickets went on sale) that nobody else on here is

I usually respect your posts and look out for them, as you add some great information about the club that other people don't have access to, but this post is silly.

Supporters are entitled to their opinions, whether you like them, agree with them, disagree with them, etc.; the same applies to Graham Alexander and anyone else at the club. Pundits pick out negatives weekly, even when teams win matches, so supporters can do the same.

Social media is essentially a forum for people to share their thoughts and feelings, and I think anyone unhappy with our defensive options and the performances of the likes of Baldwin and Byrne is entirely justified. We were led to believe we would go for it this season from the club. Yet, we've signed a lad who shipped 86 goals and a cheap option who barely even played for Stockport as two options in a back three.

"A win is a win" is a nothing statement. Yes, we beat MK Dons, but even the man you quote in your post wasn't happy with the overall performance in the game, so by your logic, he is a moaner peddling negativity.

You and Graham Alexander can do whatever you want, but supporters can criticise him, the club, his tactics and his players. It's part of the game. Please stick to giving us information about the club as that is much appreciated. Thank you

Promised investment in the team certainly hasn't happened
Deals with Oliver and McDonald haven't been reached
We need to sell before bringing more players in
    Am not guessing that
I think it's you guessing he has invested without proof

A few comments out of hundreds. I mean with this with respect, you see everything as positive, which ain't a bad thing. But that means any thing not positive is automatically seen as negative towards the club. I agree it's too early to be speculating about table positions but debate about games whatever the result should be encouraged not down beaten.

    Slightly OTT saying ‘absolute everything’.

Yes there is ‘some’ moaning, which given six years in this division then it’s hardly surprising.

My personal view is that the summer signings have been somewhat underwhelming. However l give them all an opportunity to impress. The evidence will be on the pitch over several games.

I think if you look at the majority of the posts on here, then most members have a slightly northern scepticism. That doesn’t mean they are negative, rather they want to see clear and unequivocal evidence of improvement.

Again I find it difficult to see any obvious signs of financial investment in the team. The players we have signed, when you look at those that have left, would I guess collectively attract comparable wages. I don’t see any obvious £4000 a week signing!
