Presume everybody has realised if you tap on your QR code in your wallet it becomes enlarged and possibly easier to scan ...

I've just had an email from the club saying, amongst other things, that this year's season ticket won't be available in the app.

My friend emailed the club about 4 weeks ago about this and asking when the app will include the ST details like it used to do. He's still waiting for a reply but I guess it isn't imminent.

I reckon there might be some issue re sharing, I had all 4 of my family's QR 's in my app last season as well as them having it shared from me...if that's clear .. ?

Yes, it's clear and the same for us. One of our group buys all 6 tickets and then shares them with the rest of us. Last season, he had all 6 on his phone so that if one of us forgot our own phone, I (it was usually me) could get in on his phone with him. This season that's clearly not possible so I printed off the QR code and stuck it onto the previous season ticket as suggested by somebody else on here. Old school or what! A modern version of the old ST book.

Guess not. I assume the email I got today was a mailshot to all members/subscribers. Don't know if they can't get the app to work as intended or if it was never intended that the season ticket would be available on there. To be fair, the download to the Google wallet worked instantly and is probably the way to go, but it doesn't excuse the lack of response to your friend.

Thought I'd best get it sorted out, took me all of 10 seconds to add the ticket to my Google wallet.
    Easy peasy.

    That’s the easy bit.

The difficult stuff starts at 3 on Saturday.

I've saved it to my google wallet and now just screenshotted mine and my daughters to my phones gallery as a backup should google go down, shite internet connection etc. I always have trouble with my phone when in a football ground, O2 are pretty useless.

O2 is non existent at VP. I'll take that advice and screenshot it, I've had near misses before when I've wondered if the signal would come through.

O2 is the worst network I've been on.

Never worked at VP and half of my house.

Switched to EE in April, cheaper and perfect coverage in my house and ass8jing VP now

Snap. I had Virgin mobile which also uses the O2 network. Signal in Baildon, where I live, is appalling and always had trouble at VP. I’ve switched to EE - £10pm pay as you go - and it’s hugely better.

Just looked at ours. Mine has Venue, Name, Customer Number, so nothing with the category but on my dads his has Price class, name, customer number, restriction. So in the price category it says what type of ticket it is. Now strangely we both have the same 25 year ticket, both bought at the same time, and both on the same phone.

Also with phones battery dying, breaking, misplacing and even stolen, then having a physical copy of the QR code makes a lot sense.

I have a digital copy it is stored on my phone and in the cloud in my Bradford City file. Plus the actual digital ST in my wallet. Think I am covered.

I have mine in my wallet, sent to me as an MMS and as an image in my gallery. Later today I am going to the local tattoo parlour and getting it tattooed on my wrist as well.
