surely one of the most obvious things to attempt to raise money at this level is to try win a cup game and get possible money spinner in the next round. We on the other hand dick about changing the team and go out with a whimper

There's absolutely nothing in that short clip that suggests Rupp had invested anything. All they've probably done is just stretched the budget slightly.
