I'd be OK giving Baldwin more time. I feel he's still adjusting. His passing is decent. He just needs time with the rest of the back line to work out positions and who picks up which man.

Shepherd has something about him with the ball. He is happy to move forward into the other half and look for a pass. That's an improvement on Kelly for me at the moment as it's a skill that Kelly needs to learn.

Our biggest problem at the moment is central. Byrne is either slow or tries to knick in/jump in and win the ball and leaves us exposed. He isn't playing as someone with a load of experience and know-how. It's a problem for me because that only leave Stubbs to play centrally but maybe he's the better option at the moment since he may not be fast but reads the game better. Byrne's decision making has been poor in the two matches so far.

 

Oh look, there's suddenly more money available now the rubbish about us being close to FFP limits has been called out for the BS that it was. Funny that ain't it?
