Sanderson came on as a sub for Angol when Sutton played City at VP in February.

I doubt being cup tied makes an ounce of difference at this level Andy, especially early season when everyone is just trying to get their squad set for the slog to January.

People are quick to forget it was GA that wanted to keep him in January and it was also GA that said a few weeks ago that him and Pattison will be like new signings for him this season.

Flynn ran him into the ground, knew exactly what he was doing.

He’s not the best , he’s done nothing for this club. I don’t know why but other than Flynn how many managers actually rate him? It’s getting a long list. Something isn’t right but it’s not necessarily any clubs fault?

If a forward is going to leave now we have signed Sanderson, it could be any one of Young, Oliver or Smith. I'd hope it would be Oliver due to his ridiculous wages, or Smith because he hasn't been very good for us. Unfortunately I can only see it being Young, as they will get a fee for him. If so, perhaps he will go back to Swindon?

Yes but we didnt get him back injured because of Swindon. If the lad declared himself fit to play then with his goal record Flynn was going to keep playing him wasn’t he? Lots of players play with knocks or putting off an operation so that they can still help the team. Had we not recalled him then it wouldn’t have been a problem. We only did so because he was killing it with another club in the same league. Jack Young isn’t our missing link. Sell him and move on.

He can't be. @Park bantam@Park bantam doesn't post anything that isn't factually correct. We've just been through this with the Vadaine Oliver debate.

His name is Jake. What he did for Swindon and Flynn was play injured and made it worse. It showed commitment and dedication to his manager and players. Just the kind of commitment we look for in players. Why else would we have recalled him if it wasn’t for the brilliant form he was in. He should never have been at Swindon in the 1st place.

Didn’t seem to show much commitment to Hughes did he. And the fact is unlike Pattison who has comeback from injury and was praised by the manager for his commitment to training it looks like Young failed to impress

Aren't Swindon skint? Hopefully the L1 interest is for good money.

My fear going into this season was, where are the goals coming from? We needed a good 15-20 more to actually test the top slots and hopefully a fit Young could offer that. But, he's also the only forward worth anything due to previous scoring form..... If/when he is sold, we needed a scoring replacement. Sanderson is an unknown so there are going to be question marks naturally from fans. But to partner Cook we have Oliver, we know what we are getting from him and it isn't goals. Smith, he was tried enough last season to know he isn't going to add that many more to his total. Kav is another unknown at this point. So we have a dud, 2 unknowns and Vadaine Oliver. We need the unknowns to come good.

Here comes the font of all football knowledge. It was GA who insisted he come back and help us. Obviously Jake didn’t want to leave Swindon, but he fully took on board his return to Bradford according to GA. It has been GA that has praised both Pattison and Young and described them like having two new players. Doesn’t sound like “failure to impress to me” he was actually on the bench on Saturday. They normally wrap them up in cotton wool when they are on their way.
Just for the record I won’t be replying to anymore of your posts on this subject.

Agree with you. Based on Saturdays showing, Pattison scored a worldy and had one other effort. The other midfielders got no where near the box, we wasted some set piece chances and Cook had some half chances. It didn't feel like we were going to create lots of chances. Let's see how the next two league games go but I'm not optimistic we have enough goals in the team still or a pattern of play tk create chances.

As would any manager. We sent him there and he bagged a load of goals. Players have to declare themselves to play. If Young didnt feel up to it then he wouldnt have played. This isnt Sunday league mate.

Apparently Notts County are working on a few deals, they still need another striker after Langstaff left... can we convince them to take Smith? Or shed a load of that Langstaff cash on Young?
