I think if we focussed on creating more chances, we’d score more. We take to the pitch with more defensive minded players, than attack minded ones.

 

Don’t think that’s true both Wright and Halliday like to get forward and we have Pattison Pointon Sarcevic Walker cook and Kavanagh all of which are forward thinking

 

On the surface it would appear City have done everything right regarding Jake Young's rehab but unfortunately money talks.
If there are two suitors for Jake's signature and the financial package is right I just can't see City holding on to him in this window.

 

Some have, many just want to have a dig at the guy.

 

I liked Ash Taylor.

 

Didn’t particularly rate them in our spells with us, but fair play to them for making a career out of the game where many haven’t.

Let’s hope they’ve improved from last season and create more chances, because in essence they’re wingers with a defensive responsibility. Hopefully Wright will give them something to think about and put balls into dangerous areas.

 

Yeh but you will agree they were shit for us and happy to see them off the books eh.....just like I and others feel the very same about Ridehalgh.

 

But Ridehalgh wasn't always shit for us. He was probably our most consistent performer when he first played for us. Granted ( I think since his injury), his later performances haven't been so good.

 

Think I gave him 14 minutes at Bury. Plenty of time to assess and consequently I called it absolutely bang on

 

Its a sad indictment of how far we have fallen and the very low expectations of some of our fanbase....

His wage would have been far too much for the amount of game time he is likely to get, I'd have liked him back but not on £6k a week or something daft

Are you saying he performed as poorly when he first played for us? I think you might need to check back

 

Catch 22 here, get rid now with a decent payout, but most decent strikers have been snapped up or more likely do we trust the club to reinvest in another player

 

Tell us Jake Young is being sold without saying Jake Young is being sold.

 

I thought fans wanted transparency ? You aren’t complaining surely ? “ He’s available” for training .

 

Yeah he's gone for sure. Oh well, hopefully we've got some decent money for him.

 

Hopefully that will change this season we have to believe in our own ability, there will be teams in the league who will have stronger squads but we know from past experiences togetherness and a strong dressing room can get you through difficult times.
